कहानी प्राचीन भारत में स्थापित है और माहिष्मती के काल्पनिक राज्य के सिंहासन के लिए दो भाइयों, बाहुबली और भल्लालदेव के बीच प्रतिद्वंद्विता के इर्द-गिर्द घूमती है। बाहुबली राजा का पुत्र है, जबकि भल्लालदेव राजा का दत्तक पुत्र है।

Bahubali is a two-part Indian epic film series directed by S. S. Rajamouli. The first part, "Bahubali: The Beginning," was released in 2015 
The story is set in ancient India and revolves around the rivalry between two brothers, Bahubali and Bhallaladeva, for the throne of the fictional kingdom of Mahishmati. Bahubali is the son of the king, while Bhallaladeva is the king's adopted son.

Bahubali grows up to be a strong and just ruler, winning the hearts of the people, while Bhallaladeva is power-hungry and jealous of Bahubali's popularity. Eventually, Bhallaladeva plots to overthrow Bahubali and take the throne
