Story:

Kabir Singh is a 2019 Indian Hindi-language romantic drama film written and directed by Sandeep Vanga. It is a remake of his own Telugu film Arjun Reddy (2017). The film stars Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani.The story follows Kabir Singh, a brilliant but short-tempered surgeon who has a self-destructive streak. After losing his college sweetheart Preeti to another man, Kabir spirals into a downward spiral of drugs and alcohol. He becomes increasingly violent and starts to lose his grip on reality.Despite his reckless behavior, Kabir is a skilled surgeon and continues to excel in his profession. However, his personal life continues to deteriorate. He gets into fights, gets arrested, and is even suspended from his job.As Kabir's life spirals out of control, he meets a new woman named Kiara. She is a fellow medical student and the two begin to develop feelings for each other. Despite his initial reluctance, Kabir begins to open up to Kiara and the two begin a relationship.However, Kabir's past continues to haunt him and he struggles to come to terms with the loss of Preeti. He continues to use drugs and alcohol to cope, causing a rift in his relationship with Kiara.In the end, Kabir realizes the impact of his actions on those around him and seeks help for his addiction. He attempts to win back Kiara's trust and the two reconcile. The movie ends with Kabir and Kiara getting married, and Kabir returning to work as a respected surgeon.
